A steakhouse-inspired dinner made easy at home with juicy steak, a golden crab cake, cheesy baked potato and garlicky green beans. High in protein, satisfying and perfect when you want something that feels a little more special without a complicated recipe.

Estimated Recipe & Ingredients

1 serving

  • 5 oz lean sirloin steak

  • 1 medium russet potato

  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup fresh green beans

  • 1–2 tsp olive or avocado oil

  • Garlic

  • Salt & pepper

  • Rosemary or Italian seasoning

Season and cook the steak to your preferred doneness, then rest and slice. Bake the potato until tender, split and top with cheddar, then return to the oven until melted. Sauté the green beans with a little oil, garlic, salt and pepper.

Makes 2 crab cakes

  • 8 oz lump crab meat, drained

  • 1 large egg

  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp olive or avocado oil, for cooking

Gently combine everything so the crab stays in larger pieces. Form into two patties and refrigerate for about 15–30 minutes to help them hold together. Pan-sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
